Program
We will pick you at your hotel in the morning and drive bordering the south side of the Lake Llanquihue entering the National Park .

We will stop at the Petrohue rapids to see the amazing white waters flowing. Continue to our starting point of the trek next to the Emerald lake and begin the hike towards the El Rincon Beach.The whole trek last for about 5 hours and depending on the people’s pace. We will be able to see young Alerces trees of about 100 years old (babies) trees grow at a slow pace but can live up to 3500 years old which is often compared to the sequoia for its thick diameter and height. Other species in the park include evergreen beech, mañío, canelo, ulmo,avellano, radal, ciruelillo and thick crops of ferns.

Enjoy the wonderful mountains surrounding and views of the highest mountain in the region, Mt Tronador of 3400 mts a.s.l. We will have a break for lunch at the amazing and quiet beach... (you can swim here ). We will hike back or take an optional boat back sailing along the coast of the Todos los Santos Lake.Drive back to your hotel. Arrive at 18 hs approx.

Optional to return sailing by boat from the El Rincon Beach to Petrohue port no included.

Starts and ends at:9 am Puerto Varas or Pto Montt. 6 pm.
Location: P.N. Vicente Perez Rosales, Lake District, South of Chile.
Duration: 8 hours. 1 hour drive from Pto Varas o/w
Hours Walk: 5 hours/Plus the visit to Petrohue River. W.Distance: 17,2 kms/ 10,5 milles return.

In the shade and sun. Mostly flat with a slope but some sections undulating. Along the beach.
Transportation: Private vehicle.
Equipment to bring:Water 2 litres, warm clothes according to weather and time of the year. Trekking shoes, rain jacket, sun and skin protection (sunglasses, hat).
Safety:Emergency equipment and first aid kit.
